My name is Karen J Engel-Foutie and I am trilled to be teaching at IES Sierra De Guadarrama in Soto del Real. I studied Educational Psychology, Community Development and Politics. I grew up in Cape Town, one of the capital cities of South Africa in the African continent. South Africa is a country with loads of sunshine, space and very diverse in that it is multi-cultural, multi- lingual and a lot of multi’s…jajajajaja.
I have been in Spain since January 2019 and was a language assistant at IES La Cabrera in La Cabrera and in Miraflores. I loved it so much I came back for more. I am looking forward to the school year, getting to know my students and sharing some of my African sunshine with them.
